AIMEE SCHNEIDERMAN

Aimee obtained her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto in 2008. She has experience working with children ages 0-18 in the home, clinic and school environments.
Aimee has worked extensively with children with a wide range of diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorders, Learning Disabilities and Developmental Delay. She has supported children and families with sensory processing challenges, self-regulation, emotional regulation, anxiety, handwriting and fine and gross motor challenges.
Aimee strongly values ongoing education and professional development. She has completed training in: Therapeutic Listening, Astronaut Training, Social Thinking Curriculum, Sensory Integration workshops, self-regulation programs such as Zones of Regulation and Alert Program, Introduction to Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT), Typical and Atypical Infant/Child Development, Handwriting Without Tears.
Aimee is also the chair of the OT/PT Paediatric Network, a network for clinicians who are passionate about continuing education, networking and collaborating on issues related to delivery of pediatric services in Ontario.
In her free time, Aimee enjoys spending time with her family. She is a mom to 2 children.
