BEHAVIOUR CONSULTATION
Behavioural consultation is a collaborative process that helps children, families, and support teams understand the purpose behind behaviour and develop individualized strategies that promote autonomy, growth, and well-being.
Our team recognizes that behaviour is a form of communication, and that every child learns and experiences the world in their own way. We believe every child deserves to be seen, heard, and supported as they are. Rather than seeking to "fix" or "normalize," we celebrate differences and focus on helping children access what they need to thrive.
We work closely with children, family, and support networks, using a collaborative, compassionate, strengths-based, and neurodiversity-affirming approach. We also support parents by providing guidance and shared strategies that build confidence and connection at home. Families can expect open dialogue, shared decision-making, and compassionate care that prioritizes dignity, safety, and belonging.
