HASHINA ASRAVI
Occupational Therapy Assistant
Hashina is an internationally trained Occupational Therapist who graduated from India, with extensive experience working with the paediatric population. She is currently based in Canada and actively pursuing my licensing process to practice as a registered occupational therapist. In the interim, Hashina is working at EYA as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
She has several years of experience supporting children and adolescents with diverse needs, including Autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, and learning disabilities. Hashina has worked in both clinical and home-based settings, providing individualized, client-centered care focused on improving functional independence, sensory regulation, and motor development.
She has a strong passion for working with children and is especially dedicated to supporting autistic clients through meaningful, play-based, and engaging therapeutic approaches. Her practice is client-centered, strengths-based, and grounded in sensory integration principles.
Hashina aims to create a supportive and engaging environment where children feel comfortable and confident. She is committed to ongoing learning and works to support children and families in a holistic and culturally responsive way.
