Senior Therapy Assistant

 Jill Naftolin is a Senior Therapy Assistant with over 30 years of experience supporting neurodivergent individuals and their families. Her extensive background spans ages 2–24 and incorporates a wide range of therapeutic modalities, including , Floortime, Sensory Integration, behavioural support and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Jill holds an Honours Bachelor of Applied Arts in Early Childhood Education and is certified in Rainbow Yoga, integrating mindfulness to support regulation and well-being.

Deeply passionate about generalization and maintenance, Jill often provides intervention directly within clients’ homes and communities. This real-world approach allows her to help clients master meaningful skills, strategies, and regulatory systems that support independence and long-term success. 

Using a client-centered, strengths-based approach, Jill empowers individuals to develop personalized tools for self-motivation, executive functioning, and emotional regulation. Her clients build their abilities to communicate, self-reflect, initiate and organize tasks, regulate effectively, and follow through on responsibilities.

In the community, Jill focuses on practical, functional skill development—including street safety, public transit use, Uber/Lyft navigation, shopping and money exchange, communicating via phone/text, and adhering to social expectations in various environments. Her work helps clients gain confidence, autonomy, and meaningful engagement in everyday life.
